Environmental Conservation Initiative (ECI) Tanzania is an organization established by environmentalists to support government efforts targeted to address natural resource deprivation in urban areas and marginalized rural places.

To promote and implement environmental conservation initiatives that safeguard natural ecosystems, combat climate change, and foster sustainable development through education, community participation, and innovative solutions.

RESENT PROJECTS
ECI recently launched an ambitious Urban Tree Planting and Green Space Development Project aimed at improving air quality, mitigating the urban heat island effect, and enhancing the aesthetic value of urban and peri-urban areas. The project focuses on planting native and drought-resistant tree species in cities and their surrounding areas, addressing the growing concerns of deforestation and climate change in urban environments.

These eco-friendly fuels, made from agricultural and plant waste, offer a cleaner, affordable alternative to firewood and traditional charcoal. By raising awareness and demonstrating practical solutions, we empower communities to embrace renewable energy and protect our forests for future generations.
Building a Culture of Waste Separation

As part of our environmental education efforts: ECI is nurturing a new generation of eco-conscious citizens by teaching the young generation how to separate waste at the source. Through fun, hands-on learning, participants discover the importance of sorting organic, recyclable, and non-recyclable materials.
